Cardax Legacy Systems

Gallagher Security Management Systems provides an upgrade path for sites to migrate from earlier Cardax versions to Cardax FT - the current platform.

In the past, smaller systems adopted Cardax Command Centre 50 software to control a single Commander and up to 50 field devices. Command Centre 50 operated on Windows® 95/98/ME. Larger systems adopted Cardax Command Centre UNIX or Cardax Command Centre NT to control up to 40 Commanders and 2000 field devices. An upgrade path is available to upgrade from these systems to the currently supported version of Cardax FT Command Centre, allowing you to transition your site to the latest in security management system technology.

Commander hardware was made obsolete in 2005 and support will cease as of 1 January 2010. Sites migrating to the current version of Cardax FT Command Centre from this date are required to replace their existing Commander hardware with supported Cardax FT Controllers prior to migration.
