NRCUG was established in 2000. Its members include Security and Facility Managers from a wide range of New Zealand companies from the education, local and central government, ports, entertainment, and general commercial sectors.

NZ National Cardax User Group meeting
After the success of last year's combined National User Group we will be running a second event in 2010.

NRCUG Chairperson Shane Goodall, Security Manager, Wintec (Waikato Institute of Technology) Shane has worked at Wintec for 8 years. He has been Wintec Security Manager for 2 years. Shane has a Justice Department background with 13 years in the prison service in the rank of Second Officer; he also had secondments to the National Prison Staff Training Facility. He has also been involved in private security as a self employed contractor. Shane is also a member of the TECUG (Tertiary Education Cardax User Group) and regularly attends TECUG conferences with over 30 other Australasian tertiary institutions. Shane will also represent NRCUG on the Chairperson Panel for the NZ National Cardax User Group.
